Installation and activation of the Jetpack plugin is super easy. Follow these easy steps:
➡ Login to your self-hosted WordPress blog
➡ On the LEST WordPress Menu, scroll down to locate “Plugins”
➡ Bring your mouse over “Plugins” and select “Add New”
➡ Here you will see a list of Plugins from the official WordPress Plugin Directory. At the TOP you will find “Akismet” and “Jetpack by WordPress.com” By Automattic. In case you do not see these plugins at the top, just search for “Jetpack by WordPress.com”.
➡ Alternatively, you can also download the plugin from Official WordPress Plugin Directory and save it on your hard disk. Now you can upload the .Zip file from your local hard disk.
➡ Click “Install Now”. Jetpack plugin will be installed.
➡ Now Activate the plugin and connect to WordPress.com to activate the Jetpack features.
➡ Click the Connect button and log in to a WordPress.com account to authorize the Jetpack connection. If you don’t have a WordPress.com Account then create a new account immediately. It will take just a couple of minutes. WordPress.com account holders and just login using their username and password.

Carousel (Not Recommended)
This module enables your visitors to view your image galleries to full-screen using EXIF metadata. There are some awesome free plugins to play around with your photo gallery that will work much better.
Comments (Recommended) 💡
This is a recommended Jetpack module that enables your site visitors to use their WordPress.com, Twitter, or Facebook accounts when commenting on your site. The module matches the site’s color scheme and also offers option to manually adjust the settings.
